So I asked :iconctjemm: to do a review of my original submission and she gave me some great instructions, even providing a nice example for reference. She nailed a lot of issues I was aware of but technically didn't know how to produce it all I needed was a push (and that reference really helped). She also pointed something out in regards to the legs and creating distance with coloring down the legs a bit, something I'd seen done by other folks but completely completely overlooked for my piece.

That all being said, her suggestions, instructions, kindness and support really helped to make the newer version pop like I wanted it to.

Right away what stands out the most in this colouring job is the comic book feel of it all. Green Lantern is a very well known comic book hero and right away he looks like he has leapt right out of the comic books!

The green glow around the outside of his body really makes him pop out and amplifies the glow from his ring. The colouring is soft but really warm feeling and the darker shading is much like the comic books.

The background is very well done but it is hard to tell where exactly he is flying. Is he flying in outer space or just in the night sky, its hard to tell from the shading of the sky.

Also, the upper body definitely pops out, but the lower body around the feet is more of a soft colouring. It is kind of a combination of poping and soft and I think possibly making the colouring system match entirely would be a bit better.

My favourite part definitely is the green rings coming from the ring, such a neat effect!
